Werner, aged 88 years, widow of George Werner, died at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday night at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Milton E. Meyers, of 636 Grant Street, the latter being a niece of the deceased. She had been bedfast for six weeks. Mrs. Werner was born in Greenville Township, this county. Her husband died 26 years ago. She is survived by these step-children: Mrs. Sarah Baer, residing near Meyersdale; Henry Werner, of Scratch Hill; John Werner, living on the old homestead, near Meyersdale; Mrs. Susan Dietle, of Greenville Township; Paul Werner, of Summit Mills, and Mrs. Emma Baker, of Hays Mills. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Meyers home, conducted by Rev. B. A. Black, pastor of Amity Reformed Church. Interment will be in the Reformed Cemetery. Undertaker J. L. Tressler will have charge of the burial. Meyersdale Republican, January 16, 1930
