Werner, 73, Brush Creek, passed away at his home in Brush Creek, Sept. 12, 2006. Born May 30, 1933, in Kennells Mills, a son of the late Gideon "Geed" Werner and Dorothy "Dot" Bryant. Survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Shirley Gibbner; sons, David and his wife Debbie, Fairhope; Dan and his wife Tammy, Berlin; and three grandchildren whom he dearly loved, Jennifer, Stephanie and Nathan. Also survived by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Queer, Fairhope; brothers, Johnny Werner, Kennells Mills; Bill Bryant, Kennells Mills; and Harry "Buddy" Bryant, Corriganville, Md.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is a 1953 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. He served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during the Korean War. He was retired from Fleetwood Folding Trailers. Member of the American Legion and VFW in Berlin, FOE 1801 and the Kennells Mills and New Baltimore Sportsman's Clubs. By request of the family, there will be private viewing only.
