WERNER Mrs. Rosa Hannah Werner, widow of the late Harvey Werner, of Greenville Township, died at her home of heart disease at 7:15 p.m. on Monday, March 11th. Mrs. Werner, who was blind, has been ill for a long time and had been failing rapidly in the last month. Mrs. Werner was born in Greenville Township on June 30, 1873, daughter of Jacob and Caroline (Finzel) Steinley. She was married to Harvey Werner in Frostburg, Md., in 1892, and has lived on the same farm for 46 years. She is survived by an adopted son, Homer Werner; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Ackerman, Berlin R.D. 4; and Mrs. Catherine Dively of Cresaptown, Md., and one brother, H. L. Keidel of Confluence. Funeral services were conducted in St. Mark's Reformed Church, Pocahontas, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14th, with Rev. J. E. Gindlesberger officiating. Interment in the church cemetery in charge of Stanley M. Thomas, Salisbury mortician. Meyersdale Republican, March 14, 1946
