    Hillard F. West, Sr., 38, Friedens RD 1 (Coal Junction) died July
  3, 1977, at home.  He was born April 13, 1939, in Boswell, son of
  George W. and Shirley (Fenton) West.  He was preceded in death by his
  parents, a son, William Kenneth; a sister, and two brothers.  He is
  survived by these children: Hillard F., Jr., married to the former
  Jeanette Wingard, at home; Trudy Ann, Wife of Michael Micheli,
  Norfolk, Va.; Eric S., at home.  He was a brother of George D.,
  Boswell RD 2; Mrs. Shirley Pletcher and Dennis E., both of York;
  Henry K., Seanor; Douglas M., Sharon; Leland B., Conemaugh; Sidney
  B., Hooversville; and James L., Tyrone.  Friends received from 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227
  Allegheny Street, Boswell, where services will be held at 11 a.m.
  Wednesday with the Rev. Max DeArmey.  Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery.
