    Mary L. West, 74, of Green Tree, formerly of Somerset, died Sept.
  22, 1996, at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Nov. 18, 1921, in
  Somerset.  Daughter of the late Harvey F. and Goldie V. (Marshall)
  Gross.  Survived by her husband, Richard D.; three sisters: Alice G.
  Brawley, Concord, N.C.; Jennie G. Miller, Chattanooga, Tenn., and
  Anne G. Shoemaker, Waynesboro, Va., and two brothers, Lester M.
  Gross, Rockwell, N.C., and Charles W. Gross, Somerset.  Family will
  receive friends from 2-4 and from 7-9 p.m. until time of service at
  8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Beinhauer Mortuary, 2630 W. Liberty Ave.,
  Pittsburgh, Pa.  15216.
