NANCY WEST

  William S. West was called to Clarksburg last Wednesday, owing to the death of 
his mother, Mrs. Nancy West, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Emsie Dawson, at the age of 87 years.  Funeral services were held Friday 
afternoon in the Baptist Church near Clarksburg in which she had been a faithful 
and willing worker since early girlhood.  Rev. Van Horn preached the funeral 
sermon.  Her body was buried at Cedarville, W.Va.  Mrs. West is survived by 
three daughters - Effie Weaver, Glenville, W.Va.; Myrtle Williams, Clarksburg, 
and Emsie Dawson, Clarksburg - and four sons - William S., Meyersdale; Floyd, 
Ellwood City; Preston, Weston, W.Va., and Philip, Morgantown; also by sixty-two 
grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
