Westfall, 45, of Hyndman RD 1, died suddenly March 1, 1988 while working as a heavy equipment operator for the FETCO Construction Company of Rockville, Md. He was pronounced dead on arrival at Shady Grove Hospital, Rockville, Md. Born June 8, 1942 in Belington, W.Va., he was the son of Olen and Sadie (Everson) Westfall, who now reside in Buckhannon, W.Va. Besides his parents, survivors include his widow Roberta (Howe) Westfall; three sons, H. Richard Cross, Bedford; Randall W. Cross and Howard L. Maish, both at home; one daughter, Suzette Maish, also at home; three brothers, Ray Westfall, Barberton, Ohio; Bill Westfall, Riverside, Calif.; and Jim Westfall, Cumberland, Md.; four sisters, Ida Harris, Ravenna, Ohio; Geneva Thorne, Belington, W.Va.; Rose Champ, Buckhannon; and Georgia Watkins, Friedens; and one grandchild. Friends were received in the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman where services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Ken L. Korns. Interment, Porter Cemetery, near Ellerslie.
