"Teed" (Pyle) 11/23/05 Daily American Elfreda M. "Teed" (Pyle) Wetmiller, 100, Berlin, died Nov. 21, 2005, at Somerset Hospital. She was born Jan. 3, 1905, in Rockwood to the late J.C. and Sarah Pyle. Also preceded in death by her husband, George; three sisters; and a grandson, David. Elfreda is survived by her son, Dick (Shirley) Wetmiller, Placida, Fla.; three grandsons, George and his wife, Alicia, State College; Mark and his wife, Melody, Shelburne, Vt.; and Martin and his wife Sherry, Rotunda West, Fla. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Elfreda is a 1922 graduate of Berlin High School and was the former owner, with her husband, of Wetmiller's Market in Berlin. She was a life long member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Berlin and was a member of the Pius Spring Women's Club. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. The Rev. Jim Hughes officiating. Interment will be in Berlin IOOF Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Elfreda's name to the Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin.
