Weyand, 76, Milford Township, passed on Feb. 5, 2008, at his residence. Born Sept. 19, 1931 in Bakersville, he is the son of the late Franklin and Estella (Shaulis) Weyand. He is also preceded in death by his infant sister, Rose; brother, Clark; and sisters, Fern Simpson and Ruth Livengood. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lorna F. (Miller) Weyand; sons, Ray A. Weyand and wife, Barbara; and David L. Weyand and wife, Susan, both of Friedens; daughter, Christina M. (Weyand) Kimmel and husband, Jeffrey, Stoystown; grandchildren, Brandon L. Weyand and wife, Kelli; Rachel L. Sharrer and husband, Jay, Amber E. Weyand, and Leah C. Weyand; one precious great-granddaughter, Madison Grace Weyand; brother, Merle Weyand and wife, Marie, Rockwood; sister- in-law, Martha Weyand; and brother-in-law, Kenneth Livengood and wife, Katie, both of Somerset; and special niece, Carol Chrise and husband, Allen. He was a graduate of Rockwood Area High School in the class of 1949. He was a retired employee of Green Garden Inc. of Somerset. He enjoyed collecting antique cars and belonged to the Sugarbush Antique Car Club. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in New Centerville and the Laurel Hill Lions Club. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Will Osman officiating. Interment at Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Messiah Lutheran Church, P.O.
