    Leland G. Weyand, 57, New Florence, died Feb. 21, 1988, in Mercy
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Feb. 9, 1931, in Jones Mills, son of the
  late Dwight and Mary (Stahl) Weyand.  Also preceded in death by
  brother, Thad.  Survived by his wife, the former Barbara Shawley, and
  these children: Esther Weyand, Somerset RD 8; Robin Gardner,
  Plattsburgh, N.Y.; four stepchildren: Sharon Robson, William Tinkey,
  and Timothy Tinkey, all of New Florence RD 2; Phillip Tinkey,
  Cheyenne, Wyo.; five grandchildren.  Brother of: Woneta Shanker,
  Salem, Ohio; Todd Weyand, Needles, Calif.; Faith Raymond,
  Millersburg, Ohio; Iona Libert, Lisbon, Ohio; Perry Weyand,
  Elizabethtown, Ky.; Cody Weyand, East Liverpool, Ohio; Wannetta
  Hugar, East Palestine, Ohio; Dwight Weyand, Little Rock, Ark.; Eldon
  Weyand, New Waterford, Ohio; Alice Sutton, Little Rock, Ark.; and
  Mary Daff, Richwood, W. Va.  He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict,
  employed by Torrence State Hospital.  Friends will be received from
  7-9 p.m. Monday, and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Kenneth A.
  Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence, where services will be held at 11
  a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Charles L. McCollum officiating. 
  Interment, Fairfield Cemetery.
