Weyandt, 78, of Shanksville died Jan. 9, 1975, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Sept. 19, 1896, in Bedford County, a son of Francis R. and Anna (Barkley) Weyandt. Preceded in death by parents; his wife, the former Lillian Keefer; two brothers; and two sisters. Survived by son, Jack D., Shanksville; four grandchildren, Mrs. Janice Dickey, Mrs. Daiva Dickey, Hayden G., Mrs. Kathy Bush; six great-grandchildren. He was a brother of: Mrs. Bertha Hindman, Vienna, Va.; G.R. Weyandt of Glenside. He was a half-brother of Francis Weyandt, Dover, Dela., and Mrs. Helen Turney, Laurel, Dela. He was an Army veteran of World War I. Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday in Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Marlin A. Miller officiating. Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
