    Howard M. Weyant, 65, of Shanksville, died May 10, 1990, at
  Somerset Hospital.  He was born Aug. 24, 1924, in Bedford County. 
  Son of the late Harmon and Alma (Snyder) Weyant.  He was a brother of
  Clair, married to the former Dorothy Miller, Shanksville; Hubert,
  married to the former Mildred Williams, Indian Lake; Mrs. Lee (Hazel)
  Gindlesperger and Mrs. Olive Gooden, both of Berlin; Ross, married to
  the former Carolyn Smith, Somerset RD 7; Mrs. James (Lois) Miller and
  Norman, married to the former Judy Onstead, both of Friedens RD 2, and
  Ernest, married to the former Loretta Young, Berlin RD 1.  He was
  retired from Whitaker Construction Co. of Windber.  He was a member
  of Mt. Field and Stream, Shanksville Rod and Gun, and Sportsmen's
  clubs and the NRA.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Friday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Horst H.
  Bandle.  Interment, Fishertown Cemetery.  Memorial may be given to the
  Diabetes Foundation.
