  VERA R. WHALEY
  
  Vera R. Whaley, 72, Confluence, died Jan. 14, 2003, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born March 7, 1930, in Henry Clay Township, Fayette
  County, daughter of the late Abraham and Mary (Burnworth) Morrison. 
  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son,
  William John Whaley, and a brother, Earl Morrison.  Survived by her
  husband, John F., a son Robert, Somerset; four grandchildren: Pam
  Fazenbaker, Sherry Benford, Sabrina and Robert Whaley; and a
  great-grandson, Aaron Benford; also three sisters: Doris Butler,
  Confluence; Eldora Anderson, Markleysburg; and Leona Frazee,
  Friedensville, Md.; and a brother, John Morrison, Confluence.  She
  was a member of the Confluence Church of the Nazarene.  Friends will
  be received at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence Thursday from 2
  to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of service,
  with the Rev. Ronald Schaeffer officiating.  Interment, Sugar Loaf
  Cemetery.
