Jr. 09/13/05 Daily American Harold W. Wheeler Jr., 72, Somerset, passed Sept. 11, 2005, at his home, surrounded by his family. Born Nov. 3, 1932 in Reading Mines, he is the son of the late Harold W. and Hazel (Albright) Wheeler. He is also preceded in death by brother Glenn E. Wheeler. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 53 years Joan M. (Miller); children David L., married to Jennifer (Rizzutto); Harold W. III (Pete), married to Debi (Pensiero); Barbara W., married to Randy Davies; Paul J., married to Stacy (Kimmel); and Linda J., married to Robert Suter; grandchildren Chad Wheeler; Christopher Wheeler, married to Kami (Hillegass); Dan Siegel, Allison Davies, Jonathan Davies, Jessica Davies, Ashleigh Markel, Jacob Wheeler, Eric Wheeler, Harold W. Wheeler IV, Courtney Markel, Megan Suter, Colby Wheeler, Ashley Wheeler, Christian Wheeler, Taylor Wheeler; and great-granddaughter Ella J. Wheeler. Also survived by Aunt Kathleen Albright and sister-in-law Helen F. Wheeler; bother-in-law Ed E. Miller, married to Joanne (Young); sister-in-law, Sally (Miller), married to Robert Locklin; numerous nieces and nephews, and beloved pets Maudie and Dottie. A 1950 graduate of Somerset Area High School, he drove truck until 1960 when he co-founded Wheeler Bros. Inc. with his brother Glenn. He remained president and CEO of Wheeler Bros. Inc. until his passing. He was passionately dedicated to his wife Joan, his family, his employees and business, and helping others. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Wheeler Bros. Inc. The Rev. James Meyers officiating. Casual dress.
