  MARY ALICE WHETSELL
  
    Mary Alice (Anderson) Whetsell, 80, of Addison, died June 25, 1980,
  at her home.
    She was born Feb. 14, 1900, in Bedford County, a daughter of the
  late Fran and Anna Leona Louise (Richardson) Whetsell.  She is
  survived by the following children: Edgar, Harry and James, all of
  Addison; and Mrs. Shirley Eberhart of Bedford; eight grandchildren,
  seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Bender of Fort
  Hill.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar S.; three
  sisters and three brothers.
    Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence,
  where funeral services were held with the Rev. Rodney Doughty
  officiating.  Interment, Addison Cemetery.
