  WHIPKEY
  
  Bertha J. Whipkey, 75, of Missoura St., Somerset, died Jan. 4, 1980,
  at Grace Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio.  Born Oct. 28, 1904, at
  Grindstone, Pa., a daughter of the late Clayton A. and Sara Minerva
  (Garrison) Lynn.  Preceded in death by her husband, Scott S., and a
  brother Raymond.  Sister of Mrs. Hazel Honkowicz, Newton Falls, Ohio;
  Paul W., of Mt. Pleasant; and Mrs. Ruth Kifer, of Cleveland.  Member
  of Trinity Chapter O.E.S. and the Wimodausis Rebekah Lodge.  Graduate
  of California State Teachers' College.  Former teacher in Fayette and
  Somerset counties.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday at
  the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will be conducted
  at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Richard Shellenberger
  officiating.  Interment, LaFayette Memorial Park, Brownsville. 
  Eastern Star services at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
