  WHIPKEY
  
  Charles M. Whipkey, Jr., 44, Friedens RD 2, died July 20, 1987, in
  his home.  Born April 6, 1943, in Somerset, son of the late Charles
  M. Whipkey, Sr., and Pauline (Tipton) Mitchell, Friedens RD 2. 
  Survived by his mother, and step-father, Kenneth Mitchell, Friedens
  RD 2; and one son, Charles M., III, Friedens RD 2.  Also survived by
  the following brothers and sisters: Shirley Barndt, Friedens RD 2;
  Rose Brant, Champion; Barbara Couffman, Saxton; Peggy Kauffman,
  Friedens RD 1; and Richard E., Friedens RD 2; and a half-brother,
  Robert Tipton, Somerset.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Wednesday (today) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where
  services will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.
  Chauncey J. Ickes officiating.  Interment, Bean's Cemetery.
