Born Oct. 19, 1927, in Jenner Township, son of Henry N. and Lillian E. Whipkey. Preceded in death by parents; an infant daughter; and brothers, Samuel, Vernon, Merle and Eugene. Survived by wife of 55 years, the former Joylene Ream; children, Jimmy D., married to Robin Campbell, Richmond, Va.; Keith A.; Wanda W. Hill; and Lori B., married to Keith Keslar, all of Ligonier; and grandchildren, Jason and Cristie Whipkey; Jenny and Christopher Hill; Brandon Strayer and Anthony Keslar. Brother of Howard, married to Catherine Nedrow, Jenner Township, and Thelma Bell-Welsh, and husband William Welsh, Ky. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, and the Jenner Sportsmen Club. Retired game department manager for the Rolling Rock Club, Ligonier for over 40 years. Enjoyed woodworking since his retirement and was an avid lifelong hunter. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Main Street, Boswell, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Jacquelyn S.
