  WHIPKEY
  
  Garfield (Bud) Whipkey, 90, of Confluence, RD 3, died July 9, 1971 in
  the Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 22, 1880 in Upper
  Turkeyfoot Township, a son of Henry and Nancy Tannehill Whipkey. 
  Preceded in death by his wife Mary Shelley.  Survived by four
  daughters, Miss Ruth and Miss Nina Whipkey at home; Mrs. Roy
  Detwiller, Connellsville and Mrs. Russell Snyder, Rockwood; eight
  grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and five great great
  grandchildren.
