  WHIPKEY
  
  Joyce Ann (Singleton) Whipkey, 43, of RD 1 Evington, Va., died
  Wednesday Nov. 17, 1985, in the Virginia Baptist Hospital, Lynchburg,
  Va., after a long illness.  Born in Halifax County, Va., the daughter
  of Ella (Kelly) Singleton of Lynchburg and the late George Wilson
  Singleton.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her
  husband, Larry G. Whipkey, and two sons: Mark G. Whipkey and Daryl W.
  Whipkey, all of Evington, Va.  Funeral service will be conducted at 11
  a.m. Saturday in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Lynchburg.  Burial
  Virginia Memorial Park.  Family requests memorials be made to the
  American Cancer Society or the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Building
  Fund.  Whitten Timberlake Chapel in charge of arrangements.
