  WHIPPERMAN
  
  Frances Ruth Whipperman, 77, of Friedens, died June 5, 2003, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born July 8, 1925 in Listie a daughter of Walter
  Samuel and Emma Romaine (Liberty) Forney.  Preceded in death by
  parents and infant grandson.  Survived by husband, Elwood Wayne
  Whipperman to whom she was married to for 54 years.  Also survived by
  children: Mrs. Susan Mathews of Orlando, Fla., Ms. Sally Whipperman of
  Somerset, Mrs. Terry (Patti) Burkett of Somerset, Mr. Mark Whipperman
  of Friedens; two grandchildren, Stevie Mathews and Ryan Burkett. 
  Sister of Mrs. Helen Wheeler of Somerset and Mary Etta "Skippy" Urban
  of Somerset and a number of nieces and nephews.  Member of Listie
  Grace Brethren Church.  A 1943 graduate of Somerset Township High
  School.  Member of Listie Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.  She
  enjoyed life and served as a constant inspiration to her family and
  friends by demonstrating courage and determination despite many years
  of illness.  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset where a service will be
  conducted 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Ronzil L. Jarvis
  officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions
  may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.  Laurel Highlands Branch,
  1011 Old Salem Rd. Greensburg, Pa. 15601.
