  WHIPPERMAN
  
    Leroy Landis "Whip" Whipperman, 86, of Fairhope died May 21, 1998,
  at Somerset Hospital.  Born Jan. 13, 1912, in Stony Creek Township. 
  Son of the late Charles H. and Mary (Landis) Whipperman.  Also
  preceded in death by a brother, Elwood Whipperman.  Survived by wife,
  the former Anne Sehar; children: Ronald L. Whipperman, married to the
  former Mary Ann Gustafson, of Osprey, Fla.; also 4 grandchildren and
  5 great grandchildren.  Brother of Mrs. Leona Chabol, Paul Whipperman
  and Telford Whipperman, all of Somerset.  Also many nieces and
  nephews.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Glen Savage, United
  Mine Workers and F.O.E. Aerie 1801.  1929 graduate of Somerset High
  School.  Chief operator for Somerset Borough Water Department for 23
  years, retiring in 1977.  Graveside services and interment 2 p.m.,
  Sunday at Somerset County Memorial Park, Somerset, with the Rev. John
  Jenista officiating.  Arrangements under the direction of the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.
