  WHIPPERMAN
  
  Minnie E. Whipperman, 102, of Somerset, died Sept. 21, 1987, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  She was born March 5, 1885, in
  Stonycreek Township, daughter of the late Jacob Walker and Emma Jane
  (Shank) Glessner.  Also preceded by her husband, Harvey Snyder
  Whipperman; four brothers: Harvey, Charles Cleamon, Roscoe D., Vier
  M.; and three sisters: Mrs. Effie Hill-Fox, Mrs. Lillie Kimmel, and
  Mrs. Katie Landis.  Survived by a number of nieces and a nephew.  She
  was a member of Glade United Church of Christ.  Friends received 3-5
  and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where
  service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James N. Strohm
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
