She was a retired secretary for the Keystone Lime Company of Springs, and was the current secretary of Hilltop Inn Restaurant and Lounge, Inc., Grantsville, Md. Mrs. Whisner was a member of the Springs Mennonite Church, the board of directors of Meyersdale Community Hospital and the hospital auxiliary, the Grantsville Area Business and Professional Women and the Springs Historical Society. She was preceded in death by her father and by her husband, the late Donald Whisner. Besides her mother, she is survived by two sons, Randolph Whisner of Fort Hill; and Dane Whisner of Springs; one brother, Mark Folk of Springs, and three grandchildren. Friends were received Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Home in Grantsville. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. in Springs Mennonite Church with the Rev. Steve Heatwele officiating. Interment will be in Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Galley, Edward Maust, Greg Gillum, Carl Hollada, Robert Bender and Richard Wilhelm.
