  MRS. SAMUEL WHITAKER
  
    Mrs. Elsie J. Whitaker, 88, of Wilmington, Del., formerly of
  Confluence, died March 12, 1971.  She was a daughter of the late
  Thomas and Mary Beggs, and was also preceded in death by her husband,
  Samuel Whitaker.
    Surviving are a son, Samuel, and a sister, Mrs. Dora Wallace of
  Hazelton, Pa.
    Graveside service was conducted Monday morning in Addison Cemetery.
