  WHITE
  
    Gilbert H. white, 95, of Star Route, Melcroft, died Oct. 21, 1997,
  at his home.  He was born July 28, 1902 at White, a son of the late
  Edgar M. and Ida (Eutsey) White.  He was a self-employed lumberman
  and farmer.  He was a member of the County Line Church of the
  Brethren where he served as a church deacon.  In addition to his
  parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Nellie (Brown) White in
  1987; two sons, Red White in 1983 and Merle White in 1993; one
  grandson, Thomas White; five brothers: Gay, Glenn, Grant, Grover and
  Gerald White: two sisters: Gladys Bundorf and Gaile Howard.  He is
  survived by one daughter, Fern McGinley of Star Route, Melcroft;
  three sons: Wayne White and his wife Dorothy of Jones Mills, Bernard
  White of Jones Mills and Paul White and his wife Nancy of Melcroft;
  17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 7
  great-grant-grandchildren; three sisters: Grace Keslar of Donegal,
  Goldie Solomon of Mount Pleasant, and Geraldine Shaffer of Donegal. 
  Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the
  Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft, where funeral
  services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. David Hucy and
  Rev. Kermit Jones officiating.  Interment, Eutsey Cemetery, White.
