She was born in Cross Keys, Va. Formerly lived in Roanoke, Va., and Somerset, Pa., before moving to Magadore in 1976. She attended Bridgewater College and Bethany Seminary, and was a member of the Springfield Church of the Brethren. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Paul R. White Sr.; a son, Paul R. White Jr., of Broadway, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Kirby, (Carol) LeLand, of Conrad, Iowa; brothers, C.H. Beam and Bill Baxter Beam, both of Mount Crawford, Va.; sister, Charlotte Stevens of Liberty, Ind.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services Friday, 7:30 p.m. from the Springfield Church of the Brethren, 3500 Albrecht Ave., Akron, with Dr. Gordon Bucher officiating.
