Born Nov. 29, 1910 in Somerset. She was the daughter of George Wesley and Olive Hay Barron. Preceded in death by husband, Robert F. Whitehill on Feb. 12, 1987. There were married Sept. 29, 1928 in Somerset. Survived by: daughters, Shelda M. Longerbeam and Carol Lehman, both of Winchester, Va., and Nancy L. McKee of Stephens City, Va.; a sister, Leanna Miller of Somerset, and a brother Homer Barron of Paloma Park, Fla. Also 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She had been a self-employed realtor and she retired in 1982. Member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Godfrey Miller Center, the American Cancer Society, and Mended Hearts. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Jones Funeral Home, Winchester, Va. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rev. Dr. James H. Utt officiating. Interment, Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Winchester, Va. Pall bearers will be John Lehman, Tom Lehman, Kenny McKee, Jeff McKee, Tim McKee and Danny McKee.
