  ALBERT WHITNEY
  
    Albert Whitney, 81, of Seanor, died Aug. 3, 1994, at home.  Born
  March 9, 1913, in Johnstown, son of the late Emil and Eva (Scharder)
  Whitney.  Preceded in death by parents, sisters, Margaret and Hilda,
  and brothers, Ralph and Edward.  Survived by wife, the former Ruth
  Lamberson, and these children: Eva Ruth, wife of Fred Strang,
  Richland; Elizabeth, wife of Jerry Croyle, Seanor; Albert J., married
  to the former Kimbra Wohlfarth, Rockwood RD 2; also grandchildren,
  Scott, Daniel and Adam Croyle.  Member of Sugar Grove Church of the
  Brethren, Blough.  Retired from U.S. Steel Corp.  Death breaks
  marriage union of 46 years.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc.,
  Davidsville, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. 
  Interment, St. Thomas Lutheran Church Cemetery.
