  WILLIAM B. WHORRELL
  
    William B. Whorrell, 79, of Garrett, died March 15, 1980 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    He was born May 31, 1900 in Summit Township, and was a son of the
  late Harry and Louise (Bone) Whorrell.
    He was a retired employee with 40 years of service with the B&O
  Railroad.
    He is survived by his widow, Myrtle (Hostetler) Whorrell; three
  daughters, Mrs. Florence Bero, and Mrs. Patricia Christner, both of
  Garrett; and Mrs. Charlotte Decker, of RD 1, Garrett; and two
  sisters, Mrs. Iva Brant, and Mrs. Elsie Sutton, both of Canton, Ohio;
  six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received in the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where services were conducted by the Rev. William
  Phennicie.  Interment will be in Highland Cemetery, here.
