Wiencek, 28, Evans City, formerly of Boswell, died Dec. 9, 2004, as a result of an automobile accident. Born March 27, 1976, in Johnstown, loving son of Edward Wiencek, Boswell, and Mildred (Ohler) Wiencek, Stoystown. Preceded in death by an infant brother, Jay Wiencek. In addition to being survived by his parents, he is the beloved husband of former Jennifer Blubaugh, married Nov. 1, 2003, and father of a child to be born in March. Brother of Phyllis Warnick, Boswell; Linda (Warnick) Mallory, Somerset; Donna (Warnick) Russian, Hollsopple; Donald Warnick, Jacksonville, N.C.; Dennis Warnick, Stoystown; Karen (Warnick) Sleasman, Somerset, and Doreen (Warnick) Thiele, Boswell. Also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. A 1994 graduate of North Star High School. A 2001 graduate of Westmoreland Community College, majoring in environmental technology. Employed by React Environmental, Pittsburgh. Former lifeguard at Seven Springs Resort where he was recognized for saving the life of a little girl. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as biking and hiking. He was an avid weightlifter and woodworker. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where a service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Gary L. Tustin officiating.
