Wiencek, 65, Linesville, formerly of Boswell, died May 13, 2001 at his residence. Born June 4, 1935, in Madison Township, Clarion County, son of Walter and Anna (Radesic) Wiencek. He was preceded in death by parents. He married Regina Meier Aug. 31, 1959, in Elkton, Md. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter, Andrea Ellen McKenney, Chesterfield, Ohio; sons, Joseph Michael Wiencek, and wife, Shelby, Thompson, Ohio; and Peter James Wiencek, Rock Creek, Ohio; sisters, Dora Swintodky, Hooversville; and Helen Makay, and husband, Joseph, Boswell; brothers, George Wiencek, Boswell; Raymond Wiencek, Somerset; Andrew Wiencek, Boswell; Richard Wiencek, Johnstown; and Alvin Wiencek, Jerome; also grandchildren, Anglique McKenny, Caleb Wiencek, Cory Wiencek and Erica Wiencek. Mr. Wiencek was employed by Dalton Industries, Willoughby, Ohio, as a cloth pattern grader for 25 years and subsequently worked for Gilmore Trading Corporation for five years in Hialeah, Fla., retiring in 1995. Served with the U.S. Army from 1957 to 1959, with a tour in Germany. Member of Linesville First Baptist Church and International Ladies Garment Union. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and most of all his family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Harold W. Coleman Jr. Funeral Home, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Pastor Tom Seiple, visitation pastor of Linesville Baptist Church, officiating.
