CHARLES C. WILCOX

  Charles Cuthbert Wilcox, 74, former Meyersdale resident, died at the City 
Hospital, Grafton, W.Va., February 1, 1948.
  A retired B & O employee and veteran of the Spanish-American War, he had 
resided in Grafton for the past seven years.
  He is survived by his wife, the former Annie Edith Baer, and two sons and 
three daughters: William S., Saltsburg, Pa.; Charles S., Fairmont, W.Va.; Mrs. 
Gertrude Newhouse, Hammond, W.Va.; Mrs. Helen George of Buckhannon, W.Va., and 
Mrs. Reba Carder, Flemington, W.Va.
  A military funeral service was held at St. Paul's Methodist Church, Grafton, 
with the American Legion Post and Veterans of Foreign Wars in charge.  Services 
were conducted by Rev. J. H. Carson, and interment was made in the National 
Cemetery with the two veterans posts according full military honors.
