"Lefty" James E. "Lefty" Wildenmann, 76, Berlin, formerly of Somerset, died Jan. 25, 2006, at Meadow View Nursing Center. Born Oct. 27, 1929, in Windber, son of Herman Albert and Ruth (Ohler) Wildenmann. Preceded in death by parents and brother, William. Survived by his wife of 53 years, the former Melva Grace Twombly; sons, James, married to the former Kim Keel, Cincinnati, Ohio; and John, married to the former Diana Pohlman, Louisville, Ky.; grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia and Evan Wildenmann; sister, Leona, married to John Kachur, Central City; and sister-in-law, Lucille Wildenmann, Friedens. He is a Korean War Army veteran (28th Division), and was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church. There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment Friedens Lutheran Cemetery. Instead of flowers contributions may be given to Friedens Lutheran Church, Friedens, PA 15541. Arrangements by Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.
