Born Sept. 6, 1923, in Conemaugh Township, daughter of Homer Robert and Margaret Mae (Hoffman) Sullivan. Preceded in death by parents; 2 grandsons; Christopher Roye and Bradley Sipe; 2 sisters, Betty Wahl and Evelyn Zvonick; and one brother, William L. Sullivan. Survived by children: Mrs. Abraham (Deloris) Shumaker, Somerset; Homer E. Gardner, married to the former Shelva Meyers, Somerset; Mrs. Francis R. (Kay) Moravecz, Hollsopple; Mrs. George L. (Georgia) Marple, Somerset; Barry W. Gardner, Severn, Md.; Mrs. Harry B. (Margaret) Mayhugh, Meyersdale; and Mrs. Robert E. (Gail) Sipe, Somerset; 22 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great granddaughters. Sister of Mrs. Lillian Derencin, Bellflower, Calif.; John R. Sullivan, Stoystown; Homer R. Sullivan Jr., Hollsopple, and James E. Sullivan, Hollsopple. Member of Somerset Church of God, VFW Post 554 Auxiliary and Laurel Ridge Sportsman's Association. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. M.D. Herring officiating.
