JOHN WILEY

  John Wiley was born May 12, 1854, and died at his home in Jennings, Md., on 
Wednesday, May 4th, 1932.  He was a native of this county.  In 1899 he married 
Miss Anna Bowser.  He was a member of the Lutheran Church.  He is survived by 
his wife and the following children:  Mrs. P. J. Kahl, of Accident, Md.; Alvin, 
Simon, Lawrence, Ida, Wilson and Betty, all of Jennings; also by five 
grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Samuel Handwerk, and a brother, George, both of 
Jennings, Md.  Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Jennings 
Lutheran Church.  Burial was in the Grantsville Cemetery.
