Wiley, 48, of Cresaptown, Md., died Sunday, Feb. 6, 1989, at his home. Born Sept. 7, 1940, at Jennings, Md., he was the son of the late Albert and Pearl (Close) Wiley. He was a painter with Wengerd Painting and a member of the Jennings Methodist Church, Md. Surviving are his widow, Nellie (Bittinger) Wiley; five sons, Marvin Wiley Jr., Jennings, Md.; David Wiley, Randy Wiley and Kenneth Wiley, all of Cresaptown, Md.; and John Wiley, Bel Air, Md.; one daughter, Julie Wiley, Cresaptown, Md.; two brothers, Harold Wiley, Grantsville, Md.; and Albert Wiley Jr., Baltimore, Md.; two sisters, Helen Wiley, Florida; and Kathleen Sipple, Grantsville, Md.; and eight grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home by the Rev. David Fetter.
