MARY ELLEN WILEY

  Funeral services for Miss Mary Ellen Wiley, 49, who died at her home in 
Jennings, Saturday, August 28, from an illness of one year, was held at the 
Jennings Methodist Church, Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock.  The Rev. D. J. 
Combs, pastor of the church, and the Rev. Curt Runze of the Bittinger Lutheran 
Church, officiated.  Interment was made in the Grantsville Cemetery.
  Miss Wiley was the daughter of James and Adeline Bowser Wiley, and was born at 
Jennings, Md., April 7, 1899.  Surviving are one son, Randall; one daughter, 
Jane; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Broadwater, Jennings, Md., and Mrs. Harry Frye, 
Akron, O.
  She was a member of the Jennings Methodist Church.
