Wiley, 70, of Salisbury RD 1, died April 24, 1988 at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born April 27, 1917 at Grantsville, Md., she was the daughter of the late Silas Franklin Bittinger and Mary Maude (Miller) Bittinger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray U. Wiley, in 1974. She was a homemaker. Surviving are three sons: Julius Wiley, Akron, Ohio; Mitchell (Mick) Wiley, Roxbury; and Roger Wiley, Salisbury; three daughters: Mrs. Mary Durst, Accident, Md.; Mrs. Louise Merrill, Salisbury; and Mrs. Ruth Ann Martin, Cumberland, Md.; four brothers: Darius Bittinger, Bittinger, Md.; Sherman Bittinger, Akron, Ohio; Theodore Bittinger and Ellis Bittinger, both of Grantsville, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Clegg and Mrs. Ellen Molnar, both of Barberton, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md., where services were conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Alan Birkby. Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
