GEORGE LEWIS WILHELM

Garrett County, Maryland

  George Lewis Wilhelm, 74, died at his home at Avilton Thursday morning, 
January 23.  He had not been well for some time.  Born in this section he was a 
son of the late Nelson and Ellen Wilhelm and for many years had resided at 
Avilton with his sister, Laura Wilhelm, who survives.  He was never married.  
Other brothers and sisters surviving are James Wilhelm and Thomas Wilhelm, 
Frostburg, Charles Wilhelm, Connellsville, Benjamin Wilhelm, Natchez, Wash., and 
Mrs. William Hetz, Shady Mills.  William Winterberg, local mortician, was in 
charge of interment following funeral services held Saturday.
