  HERMAN R. WILHELM
  
    Herman R. Wilhelm, 76, Paw Paw, W.Va., formerly of Grantsville,
  Maryland, died October 2, 1984 at the War Memorial Hospital in
  Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
    Born in Blaine, W.Va., he was a son of the late Joseph H. Wilhelm
  and Ella M. (Wagner) Wilhelm.
    He was a retired painter.
    He is survived by six sons: Edison Wilhelm, Severn, Md.; Paul
  Wilhelm, Swanton, Md.; Gary Wilhelm, Berlin; John Wilhelm,
  Martinsburg, W.Va.; Donald Wilhelm, Lawrence, Miss.; James Wilhelm,
  Cumberland, Md.; five daughters: Mrs. Shirley Bittinger,  Swanton;
  Mrs. Linda Warnick, Mrs. Catherine Carney, Mrs. Edith Nair, and Mrs.
  Dorothy Kerns, all of Cumberland Md.; one brother, Lester Wilhelm,
  Blaine; a half brother, George Brabson, Grantsville, Md.; and 19
  grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville,
  where services were conducted Friday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. DeWayne
  Johnson officiating. Interment, I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Elk Garden, W.Va.
