His death was caused by Bright's disease of the kidneys, and dropsy, and he died in the Wenzel Hospital, Meyersdale, Pa. He is survived by his mother, also by his wife, whose maiden name was Daisy McKenzie, both of Greenville Township, where Mr. Wilhelm operated a small farm. Surviving also are these children: Carl and Bernard, Silva and Helen, all at home, and these brothers and sisters: Curtin W., of Greenville Township; Frank W., Mrs. Rose Spreadberry, Mrs. Myrtle Shanaberger, and Mrs. Naomi Werner, all of Akron, Ohio. Funeral services were held Tuesday, at 2:30 p.m., at the Evangelical and Reformed Church, at Pocahontas, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Gindlesperger. The burial arrangement was in charge of Stanley M. Thomas, mortician, of Salisbury, with interment in the Greenville Cemetery. By the death of Mr. Wilhelm, Greenville Township has lost a good citizen, and his family a kind and devoted husband and father. He was a lifelong resident of Greenville Township, and in addition to his relatives, had many other friends. Meyersdale Republican, March 7, 1940
