Born May 24, 1920, in the village of Roxbury Stonycreek Township, the daughter of Lewis H. and Sadie E. (Boyer) Musser. Preceded in death by parents: first husband Ralph Arthur Poorbaugh Jr. who died Oct. 19, 1976; brother: Lee M. Musser and four sisters: Mildred Yoder, Elsie Kimmel, Mabel Engle and Mary Knepper. Survived by husband Clinton Elliott Wilkerson; children: Craig A. Poorbaugh of Mount Pleasant; James G. Poorbaugh married to the former Susan Carmany of Aiken, S.C.; stepdaughter Mrs. Dennis R. (Peggy L.) Beatty of Atlanta, Ga.; one grandson Adam Poorbaugh of Lincoln, Neb. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Bykota Circle. A 1939 graduate of Shanksville Township High School, 1943 graduate of Indiana State Teachers College where she received a bachelor's degree. Former board member of the Children's Aid Home, Somerset Auxiliary of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, Somerset Garden Club, longest patron and active season ticket holder of the Mountain Playhouse, also patron of Laurel Arts. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, with Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr., sr. pastor, and Rev. Susan H. Yatta, pastor, officiating. Interment in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pittsburgh, Pa.
