Wilkins, 55, Hughesville, Md., formerly of Jenners and Acosta, died Jan. 16, 2008, in Maryland. Born Nov. 3, 1952, in Johnstown, the son of Herbert M. Sr. and Marion June (Rummel) Wilkins. Preceded in death by parents; special grandmother, Ruth Rummel; mother-in-law, Faye Matkoskey; and brother-in-law, John Matkoskey. Survived by wife of 34 years, the former Peggy J. Matkoskey; dear friend and partner, Clinton "Thunder" Watson; brothers, Herbert M. Jr. "Rusty" and wife, Diane, Somerset; and Claude W. "Dusty" and wife, Carol, Jenner Crossroads; father-in-law, John Matkoskey Sr., Acosta; and these sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Judy and Jerry Holiday, and Pam and Brian Costea, all of Kimmelton; George and Barbara Matkoskey, David and Jenny Matkoskey, and Nick and Annie Matkoskey, all of Acosta; Tina and Jeff Shaffer, and Kasey Matkoskey, all of Friedens. Also survived by uncle, Bill Rummel; Peggy's uncle, George Matkoskey; and numerous nieces And nephews. Was a sales associate with the La Plata, Md. Wal-Mart for the past five years and previously worked as a certified nursing assistant at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Maryland. Ricky loved motorcycles and belonged to numerous motorcycle clubs in Florida. He also enjoyed dancing, had an outgoing personality and was loved by many. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Main Street, Boswell, where service will be held 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Daniel Nicksich officiating.
