"Gene" Will, 81, of New Baltimore, died Dec. 6, 1995, at Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Born Feb. 4, 1914, in New Baltimore, the son of the late Lawrence A. and Virginia A. (Topper) Will. He is survived by his wife, Mary E. (Manges) Will; sons: James H. "Yogi", married to the former Rita Dull, Berlin RD 3; Paul F., married to the former Tracy Moore, East Freedom; John J., Washington, D.C.; Eugene T. "Po", married to the former Beverly Bradford, Hookstown; Henry C. "Ike" of Schellsburg RD 2; Edward C., married to the former Melinda Grasser of New Baltimore; Patrick S., married to the former Connie Winegardner of Manns Choice RD 1; Kevin R. of Manns Choice RD 1; Ronald H., New Baltimore, and daughters: Audrey M., wife of Larry Benning, New Baltimore; Mary Alice, wife of Jeff Hobson, New Baltimore; Virginia A., Somerset; Nancy L., wife of John Trentini, Golden Gate, Fla.; Donna L., wife of Ken Suder, Windber; Gail E. of New Baltimore; brothers: Dr. Thomas Will of Dallas, N.C., and Robert J. Will of Friedens; sisters: Mary Theresa Keller, Lancaster, and Rose Ann Webreck, Berlin RD 3; also 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by infant son, George E.; infant daughter, Patricia; 5 brothers: DeSales, Aloysius, Henry, Russell, John, 2 sisters: Margaret and Grace. He was a retired farmer and construction worker and a coal miner at Central City. A member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore Sportsmen's Club and Laborers Local 910 of Johnstown. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore, Rev. Mark Begly, celebrant. Interment, St. John's Church Cemetery, New Baltimore. Viewing will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Church or to New Baltimore Fire Company.
