She was born Nov. 8, 1920, in Somerset, the daughter of the late Edward Kimmel and Anna Margaret Miller Ankney. She was the wife of the late Howard LeRoy Willaman, formerly of Greenville, who died in 1982. She was a librarian and English teacher with the Ligonier Valley School District for more than 20 years. She was a resident of the Ligonier Valley area for more than 60 years. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school and served on the board of deacons. She volunteered with the Ligonier Valley Library, Meals on Wheels and the Girl Scouts. She was a member of the Trinity Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Somerset. She was also an avid golfer and longtime member of the Ligonier Country Club. Her hobbies included, but were not limited to reading, gardening, interior decorating and spending time with her grandsons and great-grandsons. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca S. and the Rev. Ronald S. Fisher, Westminster, Md.; a sister, Nadine Knupp, and a brother, Max Ankney, both of Somerset; two grandsons, Erik Fisher and his wife, Kimberly, Whitehaven, Md.; Andrew W. Fisher, Westminster; and two great-grandsons, Owen and Judah Fisher; and a brother-in-law, Clair D. Willaman, Greenville. Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Snyder Funeral Home Inc. & Crematory, Bell and East Church streets, Ligonier. Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in the Covenant Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Robert D. Cummings officiating. Everyone please go directly to the church. Interment will be in Ligonier Valley Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Convenant Presbyterian Church, Ligonier Valley Library or the Howard L.
