Willey's body arrived Tuesday evening at Grantsville and will remain at Winterberg Funeral Home until Sunday morning. Reburial services will be conducted Sunday, April 10, at 2 p.m. at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Miller, Grantsville. The Rev. D. J. Combs, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate. Full military rites will be conducted at Grantsville Cemetery by American Legion Post 214. Sgt. Willey was born April 11, 1923, at Kingtown, W.Va. He was graduated from Grantsville High School in the class of 1941. He entered the service in January 1943 and received his basic training at Camp Walters, Tex. After a ten-day furlough, he went overseas in August 1944. He served with the Eighth Divison of the 121st Infantry in France and Germany, until he was killed April 7, 1945. Survivors include the deceased's mother, Mrs. Verna B. Miller; stepfather, Harry E. Miller; a brother, Father Waitman T. Willey, Kettleman City, Calif.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Harry Billmeyer of Grantsville, Miss Dora May Miller of Cumberland, Miss Patsy Ann Miller at home, and one half-brother, Johnny Lee Miller, at home. Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Barr, New Martinsville, W.Va. Meyersdale Republican, April 7, 1949 BURL E. WILLEY Reburial services for Sgt. Burl E. Willey, who was killed in Germany on April 7, 1945, were held Sunday afternoon at the home of his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Harry E. Miller, near Grantsville. The Rev. D. J. Combs, pastor of Grantsville Methodist Church, officiated. Mrs. Harry Yommer and Mrs. Harry Hoover sang "Going Down the Valley", "Back of the Clouds" and "Beyond the Sunset." Military rites were conducted at the grave in the Grantsville cemetery by American Legion Post 214. Commander Wayne Durst was in charge. Chaplain Ray Jenkins read the burial service, and buglar was Donald Keister. Relatives from a distance who attended were Mr. and Mrs. George P. Barr and family, Weirton, W.Va.; Mrs. Pearl Blake, Wheeling, W.Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Hoker Conner and daughter Carol, Mrs. Emma Davis, Moundsville, W.Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Clark Mellott and son, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Mellott, Mrs. Dora Barr, Charles Barr, Peter Barr, New Martinsville, W.Va.; Mr. and Mrs. W.
