    Alice Marie Williams, 68, Friedens, died Nov. 2, 1997, at Allegheny
  General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Aug. 18, 1929, in Somerset,
  daughter of Homer Curtis and Dorothy Elizabeth (Picking) Schilling. 
  Preceded in death by parents; and a brother Clifford E. Schilling. 
  Survived by these children: Mrs. Jeffery G. (Virginia) Walker,
  Friedens; Mrs. Brook T. "Ted" (Jolinda) Wilt, Meyersdale; Mrs. Mark
  A. (Rhonda) Metts, Friedens; Clarence E. Williams, married to the
  former Annie Nichols of Phoenix, Ariz.  Stepchildren: Mrs. Alvin
  (Rhonda) Moore of Altoona; H. Kenneth Williams of Greensboro, S.C.,
  Mrs. Sheldon (Patricia) Pugh, Somerset; Mrs. David (Diane) Hinebaugh,
  Williamsport; Ms. Sharon J. Williams, Boswell.  Six grandchildren, 9
  step-grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 4
  step-great-grandchildren.  A sister, Mrs. Pauline L. Conner, Phoenix,
  Ariz.  Life member of the Somerset Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. 
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1
  p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Glenn E. Sadler officiating.  Interment,
  Husband Cemetery.
