  WILLIAMS
  
  Benjamin R. Williams, 81, Uniontown, died March 18, 1989, in
  Uniontown Hospital.  Born May 6, 1907, in Fairchance, Pa., son of the
  late Samuel Ellis and Lillie (McKim) Williams.  In addition to
  parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Everett D. Williams,
  and sister, Ethel Gambee.  Survived by wife, Vera Lauffer Williams;
  two sons, Ronald E. and C. Dewey Williams, both of Uniontown; 10
  grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; a sister, Sarah Carey, Somerset;
  and a brother, Glenn, Leesburg, Fla.  Member of Third Presbyterian
  Church in Uniontown.  Former owner of S.E. Williams Supply Co.,
  Somerset and Uniontown.  Family will receive friends in Andrew D.
  Fergusson Funeral Home, 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, 7-9 p.m.
  Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, and Wednesday until 11 a.m., the
  hour of service, with Dr. John K. Sharp officiating.  Interment will
  follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Uniontown.  Family suggests in lieu of
  flowers contributions may be made to the Uniontown Public Library.
