Born Jan. 10, 1909 in Quemahoning Township, Somerset County, the daughter of the late John Bricker and Lydia Elizabeth (Tressler) Umberger. Also preceded in death by sisters, Pearl Berkebile, Mary Irving and Margaret Fritz; a brother, John C. Umberger and her husband, Lloyd R. (Butch) Williams, who died April 14, 1990. Survived by a stepdaughter, Mrs. Douglas (Betty) Speicher, Queensbury, N.Y.; three step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; sisters, Nellie Barnhart, Hummelstown, Pa. and Mrs. Alice Landis, Somerset; brother Bert Umberger, Hummelstown; and a number of nieces and nephews. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset and a past president of VFW Post 554 Auxiliary, Somerset. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, at the Husband Cemetery. The Rev. Robert I. Hoover Jr. officiating. Interment in Husband Cemetery. Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
